i won't go home, no longer
you emerge from a crystal clear blue pool inside what looks like a temple. greek style columns lined the walls, and through a large archway in the middle, you can see a large crowd and neon lights reflecting in smoke that lingers above them.
you make your way inside and are immediately met with a thick fruity scent in the air mixed with the smell of all the dark liquor filling the revelers' glasses. occassionally, you catch the scent of red wine of a sangria or the tequila of a margarita; but nothing is quite as intoxicating as that fruitiness.
as you follow the scent, you come across a man with thick, dark brown curls draped over his shoulders and dressed in a greek chiton. he offers you some kind of cookie shaped like a lotus flower. the petals looked so delicately crafted, you hesitate to bite into it; but ultimately, you do bite it, and you're glad you did.
almost instantly, you feel the heaviness of whatever weighed on your thoughts ease up until disappearing altogether. you feel the bass of the music vibrate every cell of your body, and you wonder why you were ever worried about anything.
